Unfortunatley,
I am leaving Epic Racing as both a manager and a driver permanently. Before any of you feel deja vu I am not leaving because 'I have lost enthusiasm with LFS' nor am I leaving because I am worried about my own activity bringing the team down. I am leaving simply because supporting a team as inactive as ER has been is more stress than it is fun and the last time i checked Sim Racing was a hobby that I do for the soul purpose of fun.
Epic Racing has stripped this element of fun away from me the past few weeks which has made it easy to make what should have been a hard decision.
There is no one to blame for me leaving or inactivity its just not meant to be for ER... or at least not at this moment in time.
So, thats all there really is to it. Simon will take over as the soul manager from now on and he will make all of the important decisions and as far as i can see he is the best man for the job, by far better than i ever could have been as an administrative figure.
I will stay in touch with the team for as long as it continues to exist and will race for the final time under the Epic Racing banner in the NDR summer event tomorrow.
Thanks for having me and making it a good time for most of the time.

thanks for your time and effort trying to help with ER oscar. I don't care what the lfs forum noobs says your not a 'team hopper'

To be honest this is a bit out of the blue. Obviously a few of us haven't been around for several reasons but its a real disappointment to see every jump ship during a tough patch. Its been nice getting to know you guys and we'll see what the future holds. Best of luck to the both of you.

I don't get the part of "inactive" - I am not for example, aswell as a certain Tom Parker would like to drive full time!
If one feels it's inactive, then make it active.
I am for myself lucky to be at ER, I never thought I'd be good enough to even drive online. I surely would b rejected at SR, right?
With this, ER won't get anywhere. Simon lost, now you and JJ. I surely don't have to say that I am not very happy about that. It's only naturally, I guess. Nothing against you.

If he isn't a 'team hopper' he wouldn't join another, arguably more crap team than ER a few days after leaving?

David, you seem inactive to me. Can you remember the last time you were online in LFS? http://www.spdoracing.com/eventdb/driver/Swiss-Spirit/hosts will tell you if you've forgotten.
You need to rid yourself of the inferiority complex. Ok, you wouldn't get into SR, but we don't just take anyone with knowing them. Look at GTAL, you didn't do too badly there. Get in some practice, or more to the point, just go on LFS and race. It's the only way you'll get better, with or without a team. Of course, a team can help if you're struggling, but so can other people - but only if you want/ask for the help.

Boothy What part of "I am on holiday" didn't you understand now?
I also can't race all the time, my mother really wants me to do something(No apprenticeship or job).
But I wanna be there for the next LLSS races, even though I ask myself - HOW? I only have ER skins...
